Acceptable Use Policy

PartyScrum is built for planning real gatherings among people who know each other. This policy explains the limits.

Do not misuse other people's information

  • Do not add someone's phone number, address, or personal details without their knowledge.
  • Do not publish a party page containing another person's home address without their permission.
  • Do not use guest lists to build marketing or contact databases.
  • Do not attempt to access a party you were not invited to, including by guessing PINs.

Prohibited content

  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content targeting a person or group.
  • Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes a minor.
  • Content promoting violence, self-harm, or illegal activity.
  • Content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
  • Malware, phishing links, or deceptive redirects.

Prohibited conduct

  • Using the service to organize illegal activity or unlicensed commercial events.
  • Selling access to parties, or using contribution features to run a fundraiser you are not authorized to run.
  • Misrepresenting who you are in order to gain access to a party.
  • Sending unsolicited bulk messages to guests.

Technical restrictions

  • Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-export data from the service.
  • Do not probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without written permission.
  • Do not attempt to bypass PIN gating, rate limits, authentication, or access controls.
  • Do not overload the service with automated requests.

Enforcement

We may remove content, revoke guest access, suspend parties, or terminate accounts that violate this policy. Serious violations, particularly those involving minors, credible threats, or unauthorized access, may be reported to law enforcement. Where practical we will give notice and an opportunity to correct the problem first, but we may act immediately when there is risk of harm.

Reporting a violation

Report abuse to support@partyscrum.app. Include the party link and a description of the problem. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
