Delete a single party yourself

If you only want to remove one event, open it from your dashboard and delete the party. This removes the party page along with its guest list, bring items, contribution entries, and playlist links.

Request full account deletion

Sign in to the planner dashboard, open Private access settings, and use the authenticated account-deletion control. This works for both Supabase-authenticated and no-email private planner accounts. You may also email privacy@partyscrum.app from the email address used for your planner account, if one exists. To help us locate the right records, include:

  • The email address or private planner handle associated with your account.
  • The names or links of any parties you want removed.
  • The subject line "Data deletion request".

We will verify that the request genuinely comes from the account holder before deleting anything. This protects you from someone else deleting your data.

What gets deleted

  • Your planner account record, including email and display name.
  • Every party you created, with its title, date, location details, and PIN.
  • Guest records on your parties: display names, RSVPs, bring items, contribution entries, and playlist links.
  • Your authentication record and private planner credentials, so the account no longer signs in.

What we may keep

We may retain limited records where the law requires it or where we need them for legitimate reasons:

  • Payment and tax records for upgrades, retained as required by law. These are held by Stripe as well as by us.
  • Records needed to resolve a dispute, prevent fraud, or enforce our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Aggregated analytics that cannot be traced back to you.

Anything retained is kept only for as long as the underlying obligation lasts.

Guests: removing your own information

If you joined someone else's party and want your entry removed, the fastest route is to ask that party's host, who can revoke and remove you directly. You can also email us with the party link and the display name you used, and we will remove it.

Timing

We aim to acknowledge requests within a few business days and to complete verified deletions within 30 days. Backups are rotated on a rolling basis, so residual copies may persist briefly in encrypted backups before aging out.

Deletion is permanent

Once your data is deleted we cannot restore it. If you want a copy of your party details, save them before making the request, or ask us for an export first and we will provide one.
